Who we are

47 Pigeons operates this website and its social-interest list. For privacy questions, use our contact form and select the same contact details you used in your original request.

What we collect

When you register interest, we collect your first name, city and country, selected interests, chosen contact method, contact details and your confirmation that you are at least 18 and agree to contact. When you send an enquiry, we also collect your message. Please do not include sensitive personal information.

If you arrive through a campaign, we may record campaign parameters and a click identifier supplied in the page address, such as UTM tags or fbclid, with your submission. We also record the submission time, source page and consent wording. These help us understand where requests come from.

How we use your information

We use your information to manage your request, understand interest in particular locations and activities, respond to enquiries, and contact you about relevant social opportunities using the method you chose. Joining the list does not authorise unrelated marketing.

We use a one-way hash of your IP address for short-term abuse prevention. Hosting systems may retain technical access and error logs for security and maintenance. We do not display submitted contact details in a public directory.

Storage and sharing

Submissions are stored in a private server-side file outside the public website directory. They are accessible to authorised people operating the site and hosting infrastructure. No email notification is automatically sent when you submit.

We do not sell your information or automatically share it with other people on the interest list. If a specific opportunity requires sharing information with an organiser, we will explain that and ask for permission first.

Cookies and third-party tools

The forms use an essential session cookie to protect submissions and remember a successful request. We do not currently install advertising pixels, third-party analytics or embedded social media trackers on this site. Selecting WhatsApp as a contact method does not load WhatsApp on this website.

How long we keep information

Interest-list details are kept for up to 12 months after submission or your last relevant interaction, unless you request earlier deletion or continued contact. Enquiries are kept for the time needed to respond and for up to 12 months afterwards. We may retain information longer where needed to meet a legal obligation or resolve an active dispute.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, withdraw your contact permission, or stop receiving messages through the contact form. Include the contact details you used when registering so we can locate the record. We may need to verify a request before changing or releasing personal information.

Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority in your location.

Adults only and policy updates

The interest list and contact forms are intended for adults aged 18 and over. If information about a child has been submitted, please contact us so it can be removed. If we change this policy, we will update the date on this page.
